Marc-André Fleury will not go anywhere

Vegas Golden Knights general manager Kelly McCrimmon has said he won’t trade goalie Marc-André Fleury.

During his press briefing on Monday evening, the DG said that the net would be shared by the Quebecer and Robin Lehner.

Regarding the use of his masked men, McCrimmon was content to say that the two men were going to be his “keepers at the start of training camp and the season”.

Recall that in February, the Knights acquired Lehner from the Chicago Blackhawks. The latter was then preferred to Fleury during the playoffs held this summer.

Recently, the Swede signed a new five-year contract worth a total of $ 25m

McCrimmon also took advantage of his moment with reporters to indicate that Lehner was going to undergo surgery on a shoulder later this week.

“[Il s’agit] of an uncomplicated operation. This is what we call a cleaning surgery ”, specified the CEO.

McCrimmon also said he expected his goalie to be ready for training camp.
