Quebec is now reporting 1,078 new cases of COVID-19, nine additional deaths and 16 more hospitalizations.
Yesterday, the province recorded 900 infections and seven deaths.
New health measures came into force today in schools located in the red zone.
“As you can see, the situation continues to be critical,” Prime Minister François Legault said during a meeting with the press.

* The total stands at 5,915 due to the withdrawal of 1 death for which the investigation showed was not attributable to COVID-19.
