COVID-19 outbreak at Davie shipyard

About 20 workers at the Davie shipyard in Lévis have contracted COVID-19 in the past few days.

The outbreak would have occurred within the same work team, which allowed management to contain the spread.

About ten employees who could have had contact with the infected people were placed in administrative segregation.

“We take all the necessary safety measures to protect our employees, in particular a temperature control and a rigorous questionnaire during the daily entry to the site, the wearing of surgical masks, hygiene rules and measures strict prevention, ”said Davie management.

In total, nearly 800 employees work for this organization.
