Suzanne Clément in a fantasy series

Suzanne Clément landed a new role in France. She is currently filming in a mini-series called The rope.

According to the official page of Versus Production, the box behind this three-part thriller for the Arte network, the storyline revolves around a group of scientists working in Norway who discover an infinitely long rope in the middle of the forest. Intrigued, seven of them decide to follow this rope to see where it leads.

The story is based on a novel of the same name by German author Stefan aus dem Siepen.

In The rope, Suzanne Clément gives the reply to Jeanne Balibar (Barbara), Jean-Marc Barr (The big Blue) and Richard Sammel (A french village). Dominique Rocher, a specialist in the fantastic, directs the series. We owe him in particular The night has devoured the world, a feature film starring Anders Danielsen Lie, Denis Lavant and Golshifteh Farahani, in which zombies engulf the heart of Paris.

Filming for The Rope will continue until November 27 in France, Belgium and Morocco.

Suzanne Clément’s French career is going well. In the spring she starred alongside Eric Cantona in Slippage, another Arte series that can be seen in Quebec on Netflix.
