Melvin Gordon in hot water

Denver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon was arrested on Tuesday for impaired driving.

According to information reported by 9News, Gordon also received a speeding ticket during his arrest. He is scheduled to appear in Denver County court Nov. 13, two days before the Broncos and Raiders clash in Las Vegas.

Gordon leads the Broncos this season in rushing gains with 281 yards and three touchdowns. He is in his first season in Denver after playing for five years with the Los Angeles Chargers.

The 27-year-old had his best game of the season during the Broncos’ last outing on Oct. 1 against the New York Jets. He then racked up 118 yards and scored two touchdowns in a 37-28 win at MetLife Stadium.

The Broncos’ next game had been postponed due to COVID-19 cases among the New England Patriots, which they had to face. The two teams will meet again on Sunday.
