Negotiations between forward Brendan Gallagher and the Montreal Canadiens are said to be halted due to the lack of progress made recently between the two parties.
This is what a reporter for the TSN 1040 radio station in Vancouver said on Tuesday.

Gallagher, 28, is due to complete the final year of his six-year, $ 22.5 million contract in 2020-2021. Without a new deal, he will become an unrestricted free agent next year.
The Albertan tallied 22 goals and 21 assists for 43 points in 59 games last season, adding four points in nine playoff games. The veteran began his career with the Habs in 2012-2013 and claims 334 points in 547 regular season games.
