Bad news for Tim Stützle

Highly promising Ottawa Senators forward Tim Stützle will be off for six to eight weeks with an arm injury.

The Mannheim Eagles, the team for which he plays in the German First Division (DEL), have announced it all, Tuesday.

Stützle was injured in training on Monday and will be operated on by a specialist on Wednesday.

The 18-year-old was drafted a week ago, third overall in the NHL entry draft by the Ottawa Senators.

In 2019-2020, Stützle had amassed 34 points in 41 games with the Mannheim team.
