Federal Minister of Health pictured without a mask

Federal Health Minister Patty Hajdu defended herself from complying with health regulations after being photographed without a mask at Toronto’s Pearson Airport.

In a photo relayed on Twitter Sunday by a user claiming to work for the Alberta Ministry of Higher Education, the Liberal minister without a mask, sitting and smiling, can be seen obviously talking with someone who is not not found in the snapshot.

“Following the sanitary rules is important to me. I wear my mask at all times at Pearson Airport and I only take it off to eat and drink, as permitted, ”the Minister replied on Twitter regarding the photo.

No one seems near the Minister in this photo. No food or drink can be seen, but a paper bag placed on a table to the right could contain some.

Conservative health critic Michelle Rempel Garner sharply criticized the Liberal minister on Twitter. “The Minister of Health, without any food or drink in sight, explains that she does not need a mask because she was at the Super Elite lounge is the height of liberal privilege. I can not [endurer ça]Wrote the member for Alberta.
