Fight against obesity month

Experts from the Institut universitaire de cardiologie et de pneumologie de Québec – Université Laval (IUCPQUL) are making a real difference in the lives of hundreds of patients. Carrying out more than 700 surgeries per year and following more than 8,000 patients, the Institute’s general and bariatric surgery department is made up of the largest team of surgeons in Canada. Having developed a surgical technique recognized throughout the world, the Institute’s experts fight daily against obesity, this disease still too often taboo.
