Defensive coordinator Raheem Morris is the Atlanta Falcons’ choice to act as head coach as they search for a new man of confidence.
The club confirmed the information on Monday. The Falcons fired driver Dan Quinn and general manager Thomas Dimitroff on Sunday night after a fifth loss in as many games for Team Georgia.
Morris was the head coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2009-2011, showing a 17-31 record. He primarily held roles with the defensive unit with the Buccaneers, Washington Redskins and Falcons, but made a short stint on offense dealing with Falcons wide receivers between 2016 and 2018.
