Jets: Bryan Little won’t play this season

Bryan Little’s career appears to be in jeopardy. Winnipeg Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff said on Friday that medics recommended the forward not to play next season.

Little’s name will thus be placed on the long-term injured list.

Little hasn’t played since Nov. 5, when he received a toss to the head. He has since undergone surgery to repair a perforated eardrum. He also suffered from a vertigo problem.

Little had two goals and five points in seven games in 2019-20. He totaled 217 goals and 521 points in 843 career games with the organization, making his debut in 2007, when the team still played as the Atlanta Thrashers.
