Mika’s concert for Lebanon generates $ 1 million

Mika helped raise more than a million dollars to help survivors of the August explosion in Beirut, thanks to a concert broadcast on the internet.

The star, born in Beirut, has indeed called other musicians for the concert “I Heart Beirut”, where we could see Kylie Minogue, Laura Pausini, or Rufus Wainwright.

Mika, as well as Georges Kettaneh, secretary general of the Lebanese Red Cross, and Kevin Watkins, who directs “Save The Children UK”, spoke in a video message in which the singer revealed the large sum raised.

France also participated in the effort to help the Lebanese population and culture. She is organizing the “United For Lebanon” concert, presented by Nagui, in which Mika will participate, in order to raise funds to help the Lebanon ravaged by tragedy.

Matthieu Chedid, Vianey Ibrahim Maalouf, Patrick Bruel and many others will lend their talent to help Lebanon.
