Exceptionally, the Journées de la culture, which usually take place over a weekend, will take place for a month, due to the pandemic. Here are ten activities with participatory components and others online available until October 25.
Introduction to video mapping
Presented alongside the History of Fishing exhibition, this activity allows participants to tell a fishing story in pictures. The finished product will be projected, in the evening, on an exterior wall of the Museum. The videos will also be uploaded later.

Short films
The Spira cooperative offers four independent short films, which can be seen online, and which highlight the film industry. We can watch Ships of fate (September 25 to October 1), Acadiana (October 2 to 8), Bonfires (October 9 to 15) and Roseline as in the movies (October 16 to 25). It will be uploaded at 9 a.m., the morning of the first broadcast, on the Spira Facebook page. There will then be an online discussion at noon with one of the makers of the featured film.
Making theater: a story of collaboration
Marie-Hélène Gendreau, actress, director and artistic director of the Périscope Theater, will talk about theater, during a talk that will take place in the auditorium on avenue Salaberry. You must reserve your place by writing an email to or by phone at 418-529-2183.

Slam workshop

Jazzy Mama will animate Place des Dudes, on Moncton Avenue, in the Upper Town, with a participatory show and rare musical instruments and various styles. She’ll make people sing too
