A supporter comes to Fenway Park

Sunday’s clash between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees was interrupted by a fan who broke into Fenway Park.

In the eighth round of a gain of 10 to 2 for the local team, the man was walking close to the cameras installed in the stands above the outfield. He was yelling at players and throwing things on the pitch. Security and police eventually escorted the intruder out of the stadium.

According to the network New England Sports Network, the supporter allegedly climbed onto the Green Monster via outside the facility and claimed he was Spiderman. He also reportedly said his goal was to delay the game as long as possible.

Remember that for the 2020 Major League Baseball campaign, spectators are not allowed into the stadiums, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
