After the lull of the day before, the number of new cases rose again in the Capitale-Nationale, which has 142 in the most recent official report.

As of Monday, the Capitale-Nationale had registered 106 cases, its best result since November 25.
In the past week, 962 new cases have been counted in the region.
In Chaudière-Appalaches the toll is 92 new cases, an encouraging result considering that there had been 94 the day before and especially that the average of the last eight days was 142.
Saguenay – Lac-Saint-Jean has compiled 48 new cases, an increase of 15, but still below average since the start of the year.
The Bas-Saint-Laurent counted only 2 new cases, Gaspésie – Îles-de-la-Madeleine 4.
Hospitalizations on the rise
In Quebec, 1,934 new cases were added as well as 47 deaths for a total of 8,782.
Within 24 hours, the number of hospitalizations increased by 61 to 1,497.
Intensive care hospitalizations are now 221, or 10 more.
