After announcing its arrival this fall in a recent Twitter post, Subaru now confirms that its all-new, second-generation 2022 BRZ will be unveiled on November 18 at 9 a.m. EST. It’s in less than two weeks!
By way of a statement, the Japanese automaker says to prepare us for “more thrills, more rear-wheel drive fun and more of everything real drivers love about the BRZ.” If you’ve been expecting all-wheel drive like other Subaru models, forget it.

Completely redesigned, the small sports coupe carried out track tests until very recently. According to images taken by spy photographers, it looks like the figure will not change drastically. The interior should be more modern and more refined.
Technically speaking, the 2022 Subaru BRZ is said to be based on Toyota’s new TNGA platform. What we can’t wait to see, though, is whether the turbocharged 2.4-liter engine fitted in the Subaru Ascent, Outback and Legacy will end up under the hood, as lingering rumors suggest. Remember that the current naturally aspirated engine is limited to 205 horsepower.
Check back on November 18 to find out and see everything about the 2022 Subaru BRZ!
