“So start now to put up your Christmas decorations to make sure that the children, when they go out for a bit at night, feel a little fairy, that there is a little bit of happiness in their head and that we changes everyday life a little. Even the teenagers, that you others, you have the taste in the evening to take walks, proposes the mayor of Quebec in a video posted, Friday at noon, on his Facebook page.
Installed near the Hôtel de Ville in Quebec, with Halloween decorations in the background, the mayor added that the City will also do its part. “We empty the store. We decorate the main streets while we can. We put on lights. You have to put on music, ”he listed.
Affirming that it is necessary to “fight the darkness”, Régis Labeaume anticipates that the change of time of the next week will be difficult to bear. “It’s going to be really tough November. It’s like we’re going to close the curtains. One hour less daylight. It will hit us in it, ”he warned.
