Montreal Canadiens forward Brendan Gallagher received special congratulations after signing his new contract.
The big fan of the Cincinnati Bengals saw running back Joe Mixon take the time to highlight his new deal with Sainte-Flanelle.
“We know how big of a Bengals fan you are, so we just wanted to congratulate you on the new contract,” Mixon said in a video posted to CH’s Twitter account on Saturday. I know exactly what it’s like to receive a large amount of money and what it feels like, so I wanted to say congratulations ”.
Mixon is referring to the four-year, $ 48 million contract extension he signed last September.
For his part, Gallagher obtained a new six-year, $ 39 million agreement, or $ 6.5 million per year.
