The CHU de Québec must announce it at a press briefing this afternoon, around 3 p.m.
Nancy Hogan, president of the Interprofessional Union of the CHU de Québec, indicates that she is aware of the situation.
“At first, the transfer was done on a voluntary basis, but there are no more volunteers,” she drops. Operating theaters are currently being relieved in order to have staff. ”
She recalls that a ministerial decree related to the pandemic authorizes the employer to proceed in this way.
“It’s unfortunate and special, but there were already a lot of people missing before the start of the second wave,” she continues. We make sure that employees have personal protective equipment and that they have training. ”
