Can we receive visitors at home or at the chalet?
It is forbidden to receive visitors from another address. “We do not accept an invitation, we do not make an invitation,” summed up the Premier of Quebec François Legault during his press briefing on September 28.
Individuals living alone may however receive a single visitor from another address. Unlike the spring confinement, couples whose members do not live at the same address will be able to continue to see each other.
What about singles?
Singles living alone will be able to choose a single visitor that they can receive during this new period of confinement, always the same.
Other exceptions: you can receive your children in shared custody. We can also welcome people who provide services, for example, a caregiver, a plumber or a babysitter. This person will have to come alone.
Can we see people outside?
“Outside, all gatherings within two meters are prohibited,” said François Legault.
Demonstrations are allowed, but wearing a mask is compulsory.

Weddings must be postponed, said François Legault.
