The spokespersons of Quebec solidaire, Manon Massé and Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois, raised the tone by speaking about the Legault government, Sunday, at the end of a National Council during which the militants precisely approached the deputies of the party of not not being critical enough of the CAQ during the pandemic.

Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois accused Prime Minister Legault and his Minister of the Economy, Pierre Fitzgibbon, of preparing a stimulus plan behind closed doors to favor the better-off at the expense of the middle class.
“The economic recovery must be for the benefit of those who have supported Quebec on their shoulders in recent months, not to the businessmen friends of François Legault and Pierre Fitzgibbon,” said the parliamentary leader of Quebec solidaire.
Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois notably questioned the $ 10 million aid granted by Quebec to the luxury jeweler Birks. The member for Gouin also returned to the charge in the files of Cirque du Soleil and the multinational Amazon. Investissement Québec helps the latter find Quebec suppliers despite the existence of the Blue Basket.
“Who thinks Amazon is helping our local economy and that it deserves public aid in return? Who thinks Guy Laliberté and his billionaire friends deserved a helping hand from the Caisse de dépôt? Not many people, ”rebelled Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois.
Manon Massé added a layer on Sunday by bringing the Caquista government closer to being in an “ivory tower”.
“The really essential people are our neighbor who is a delivery man at $ 13 an hour, the grocery clerk who is at minimum wage, and the beneficiary attendant who earns 10 times less than a doctor”, launched the parliamentary leader of Québec solidaire.
It is in this perspective that the two spokespersons of the party will undertake a tour of Quebec to meet essential workers in the coming weeks, it was announced at the close of the National Council, which took place at the end of week in digital format.
