“What binds me a bit is that we work a lot on assumptions. We say that we do not want to work on the “ifs”, but we work a lot on assumptions in fact, “retired virologist Jacques Lapierre said Thursday, in an interview with LCN.

The latter maintains that the government “assumes that even if we extend the time between the first and second vaccination, there will be no decline in immunity”, a situation for which there are no data available, he denounces.

“They say that for the first 90 days, there will be no decline in immunity and the” booster “effect of the second dose will be achieved. We don’t have data for that. So, these are hypotheses, we operate with hypotheses, ”he lamented.
