GENEVIÈVE AND ALAIN IN VIRTUAL CONCERT
Geneviève Roberge-Bouchard and Alain Barbeau, both from the Ottawa-Gatineau region, met in 2013 during a show in Outaouais. That’s when they decided to unite on stage and in life.
Their music is a folk universe where we escape in complicity and emotion. The two songwriters and performers harmoniously superimpose their comforting voices, with Alain on guitar and Geneviève on piano.
Their first album, “On est les deux”, earned them three nominations at the Trille Or Gala, as well as the Song of the Year award at the competition. My First Place des Arts and the price Succession at the Gala des Culturiades of Gatineau.

Unifrance, with its online festival MyFrenchFilmFestival presents, in partnership with Telefilm Canada, a selection of feature films and short films, ranging from fiction to documentary through virtual reality, films with subtitles and available online worldwide, to represent diversity and vitality of French-speaking cinema.

The cinemas are, so to speak, banned, pandemic obliges. Plein (s) Ecran (s) therefore rethinks its modus operandi and comes to us with the first film festival which takes place entirely on Facebook.
Indeed, by using the web, its objective is not only to create a unique virtual cinematographic event that is easily accessible to the general public, but above all to celebrate the work of filmmakers and to offer the short film an exceptional showcase.
As part of this festival, the series Flames NFB will allow you to watch three films for 24 hours only from midnight to midnight from January 16 to 17 inclusive. Among the selection, REW-FFWD a short documentary film by Denis Villeneuve released in 1994, to see or re-watch.
JACK IS SCRAP BY DENIS LORD
The very first novel by journalist and editor Denis Lord, Jack is scrap was recently published by Éditions Prize de parole.
