COVID-19: 2,132 new cases and 64 additional deaths in Quebec

Quebec reports 2,132 additional cases and 64 deaths, bringing the total to 236,827 infected people and 8,878 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

As of Wednesday, the province recorded 2,071 infections and 35 deaths.

  • 8,878 deaths (+64) *
  • 1523 people hospitalized (+7)
  • 230 people in intensive care (+1)
  • 204,741 are restored
  • The withdrawals carried out on January 12 amounted to 36,402, for a total of 5,314,149

* The total number of deaths stands at 8,878 due to the withdrawal of 1 death for which the investigation showed was not attributable to COVID-19.
