Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred has reportedly told clubs on his home circuit that they need to prepare for spring camps and a 162-game season.

Spring camps are scheduled to begin February 27, while the 2021 campaign is scheduled to begin February 1er April.
Last week, the Major League Players Association made it clear that its athletes wanted spring camps and the regular season to start on schedule. According to the collective agreement, the union must approve any delay in the schedule.
Recall that during the last season, a campaign shortened to 60 games, the players got only 37% of their salary.
In addition, it is still not known which teams will allow the presence of fans during their matches in 2021.
