COVID-19: New record for daily cases in Toronto

For the second time in two days, Toronto on Tuesday recorded a record number of daily COVID-19 cases.

In the Ontario capital, 727 people were declared newly infected with the coronavirus, it is more than a hundred than the day before, while the 622 cases of Monday had represented a peak.

Seven new deaths related to the disease were reported in Ontario on Tuesday for a total of 3,663 since the start of the pandemic.
