A fast lane for government assistance requests

The federal, provincial and municipal levels, along with several other partners, announced Friday morning the creation of an alliance aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and organizations in the Capitale-Nationale to accelerate requests for assistance related to the pandemic.

The new alliance will allow entrepreneurs, cooperatives and other organizations to obtain rapid support in the maze of various government assistance programs.

“The Alliance’s objective is to enable […] to obtain, in a single meeting, all the information on municipal, provincial or federal financial assistance programs and to receive the necessary support to advance their request or advance their project, ”explain the officials.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister responsible for the Capitale-Nationale, Geneviève Guilbault, described the structure as a “fast-track” for local economic players.

“It is a real express network for help seekers. We are creating a sort of economic web in the Capitale-Nationale so as not to escape any demand and offer optimal support, ”adds Ms. Guilbault.
