This week, TVA’s “JE” program is focusing its cameras on a heinous crime that has shaken the Gaspé and even Quebec: the assassination of Victorien Vallée and Claudette Servant.
In the Tourelle sector, in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, in Gaspésie, an uneventful couple, Victorien Vallée and Claudette Servant were found murdered in June 1995. Disappeared in May from their residence, they were found one month later, in a stream in Cap-au-Renard.
Since then, the couple’s two daughters have been trying to understand by conducting their investigation since the crime has never been elucidated by the Sûreté du Québec.
Responsible for the file entitled “Silence”, the journalist Félix Séguin told the QMI Agency on Wednesday that it was an octogenarian who contacted him to share his idea on this file. The thesis of this gentleman was then validated by a police source as well as by the sisters.
The TVA team went to Gaspé at the beginning of the summer for the shooting, in particular with the couple’s two children, a return “quite emotional”, recalled Félix Seguin.
He also made the observation of the “enormous weight [que porte] this small community ”since people have a clear idea of the identity of the suspects. “Everyone knows a little. Everyone is afraid to speak, ”he said.
- The “JE” program will air Thursday at 9 p.m. on TVA.
