School visits to the Joliette Art Museum online

The Musée d’art de Joliette (MAJ) offers primary and secondary school classes turnkey cultural activities by videoconference, in particular guided tours of the museum and creative workshops.

Guided tours last one hour. You can also add a workshop to a visit for a total of two hours.

The visit allows students to discover the concept of collecting an art museum and the diversity of artistic disciplines, such as painting, sculpture or photography.

The MAJ also organizes family activities online. Thus, this Sunday, November 22, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., young people aged 5 to 11 will be invited to make temporary sculptures in the company of artist Florencia Sosa Rey.

Registration required. Another such creative morning will take place on December 6, with a Christmas theme.
