For a second day in a row, Quebec reports a decrease in confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Capitale-Nationale, the region now having 49 additional cases.

The Quebec City region also deplores two new deaths, for a total of 388.
The new cases of the recent report bring the account to 10,161 carriers of the virus since the start of the pandemic.

Across the river, Chaudière-Appalaches experienced a slight drop in the number of cases in 24 hours. The region registers 44 newly infected. The territory also has eight additional deaths.
At the provincial level, the results today show a marked increase of 47 hospitalizations. However, the province has fewer new cases of COVID-19 than in the past few days, with 982 carriers of the virus adding to the count.
Quebec also reports 24 new victims of the virus.
