The name of Cleveland Browns running back Andy Janovich was placed on the list of players inconvenienced by COVID-19 on Monday.
The NFL team learned that their player had tested positive for the virus in the morning and closed their training facility, in order to trace all of Janovich’s recent contacts.
This is the second time the Browns have had to do this. The club were forced to do the same ride last Friday after offensive lineman Chris Hubbard tested positive for COVID-19.
Last Sunday, the Browns defeated the Houston Texans 10-7. Janovich has been in 15 games on offense and has been on the field 11 times with special teams.
The Ohio club are set to face the Philadelphia Eagles next Sunday.
