By recording more than 100 new cases for a third consecutive day, the Capitale-Nationale has passed the milestone of 10,000 people infected since the start of the pandemic.

Sunday, the Quebec City region recorded 103 additional cases, bringing the count to 10,037 carriers of the virus since the start of the pandemic. However, the trend has been downward for three days in the territory.
In addition, there are four new deaths attributed to COVID-19 in the region, for a total of 382.
Across the river, Chaudière-Appalaches has seen a drastic drop in cases in 24 hours. From 125 new patients the day before, it recorded only 38 more on Sunday.
Another person, however, has lost their battle with the coronavirus in the region. There are now 97 deaths linked to the pandemic on the south shore of Quebec.
At the provincial level, there is still some stability, with 1,211 new cases reported. There are also 15 new deaths.
