Substitute in schools: Viamonde calls for help

The Viamonde School Board, which manages some sixty secular French-language schools in Toronto and throughout the Ontario peninsula, is calling on its parents and the entire community: “Come and lend us a hand!”

“The pandemic situation, in addition to the context of staff shortages in Francophone establishments in Ontario, the board to show ingenuity and find innovative solutions to ensure that all students can continue their face-to-face learning ”, explained the Director of Education, Martin Bertrand, in a press release on November 2.

The Council appeals to the school community by asking those who wish to lend a hand to complete an interest form.

From teaching to cleaning

“Do not hesitate to share this form of interest with those around you, if you know of people likely to be interested and available to offer paid temporary help in a school of the Council.”
