Construction sites are the workplaces where the CNESST issued the most notice of correction of health measures between September and November, according to figures obtained Friday by TVA Nouvelles.
The Committee on Standards, Equity, Health and Safety at Work (CNESST), which is stepping up interventions in workplaces due to the pandemic, has issued no less than 784 correction notices for the entire period. Island of Montreal between September 1 and November 5.
In the Capitale-Nationale region, 652 correction notices were recorded for the same period, and nearly 302 of these notices relate solely to the construction industry.
The businesses registered 112 notices of correction in Quebec, and the schools, 88.
In Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, 460 correction notices were issued.
The CNESST is stepping up interventions in workplaces due to the health crisis and has issued hundreds of correction notices.
