Launched in 1963, the Porsche 911 is one of the most iconic cars of the last century.
Although the current model performs better than ever before, Porsche enthusiasts are not shy to claim that they miss the models of yesteryear.
For some purists, a “real” Porsche 911 must be equipped with a manual gearbox, and especially an air-cooled engine, a feature which has long been its signature, but which was abandoned in the late 90s.
