A first Ford Bronco Sport was seen in Quebec.
A faithful reader of Car guide photographed what appears to be the first Ford Bronco Sport to land in the province. He was seen at the Ford training center in Laval.
As can be seen in the photos, this is an Outer Banks edition painted in very dark blue. This is one of the four versions offered. The other three are: Base, Big Bend, and Badlands.
Remember that the Bronco Sport borrows its platform, called C2, from the Ford Escape.
In terms of engine, we are entitled to a turbocharged three-cylinder 1.5L unit. The whole generates a power of 181 horsepower and a torque of 190 lb-ft.
By opting for the Sport Badlands version, the one with the highest price ($ 40,199), you get a turbocharged four-cylinder 2.0L engine. This develops 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft.
All models will be equipped with the four-wheel drive system and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The first examples of the Ford Bronco Sport 2021 are expected to arrive by the end of this year at dealerships in Quebec.
