Lexus has officially announced pricing for its new 2021 IS.
Redesigned and slightly revised from a technical point of view, the car also benefits from the new Lexus Safety System (LSS + 2.5). This is the same system that was recently unveiled for Toyota models.
The IS 300 F SPORT Series 1, the base model with rear-wheel drive, starts at $ 42,950. For that price, the car comes with a 2.0-liter turbo engine (241 horsepower and 258 lb-ft) and an 8-speed automatic. On the equipment side, we find 19-inch F SPORT rims, heated and ventilated electric seats (8 settings), a TFT screen inspired by that of the LFA supercar and F SPORT aesthetic inserts in the cabin.
To benefit from the 3.5-liter V6 (260 hp and 236 lb-ft), a 6-speed transmission and all-wheel drive, you have to opt for the IS 300 AWD, which starts at $ 43,400. The small price difference with the IS 300 makes this version a much more interesting model thanks to its all-wheel drive. It receives 18-inch rims, heated electric seats, dual-zone air conditioning, a smart key and a blind spot detector with cross-traffic alert.
This model can also receive several optional sets. Depending on what you want to add, the IS 300 AWD is available with the Premium, Luxury, Ultra-luxury, F Sport Series 1 and F SPORT Series 2 packages. Prices range from $ 43,800 (Premium) to $ 49,500 $ (F SPORT Series 2).
Finally, the most upscale model, the IS 350 F SPORT Series 2, starts at $ 53,300. For that price, the V6 sees its power increase to 311 horsepower and torque to 280 lb-ft. And for those who want an even sportier line, it is possible to opt for the F SPORT Series 3 package ($ 58,000).
The latter adds a “Dynamic Pack” that includes 19-inch BBS wheels, adaptive suspension, LED headlights, rear spoiler and carbon mirror caps.
The new Lexus IS 2021 will be available at dealerships at the end of October.
