Formerly directly imported from Germany, the Volkswagen Jetta no longer has much to do with this European country, except for the logo that sits on its grille.
Now reserved for the North American and Chinese markets, the Jetta has greatly gentrified over the years, becoming one of the largest compact cars in the industry. It has also somewhat lost that little German touch that allowed a very appreciable drive.
Fortunately, Volkswagen offers a variant that resolves this problem: the GLI. Equipped with the same engine as the one found under the hood of the Volkswagen Golf GTI, this GLI provides performance worthy of the name. It is also united with a very firm independent rear suspension, sharper steering and precise transmission.
